TestedApps.com is an independent review site covering AI apps, marketing software and online courses. I am Kamal, and I buy or get access to every product I review, use it long enough to find its limits, and publish a verdict with a rating. I do not accept payment for a positive review.
Who runs this site
I am Kamal Sahni, founder of TestedApps.com. I have worked in affiliate marketing and SEO since 2020 — long enough to watch a lot of “revolutionary” tools launch, get hyped for two weeks, and quietly disappear.
I started TestedApps because the reviews I wanted did not exist. Every launch had the same twenty articles, all published within 48 hours of the sales page going live, none of them written by anyone who had actually opened the product. They were paraphrases of the vendor’s own copy with an affiliate link stapled on.
How I test
- I buy access. No demo-only reviews. If I cannot get real access, I do not review it.
- I use it long enough to hit the limits. Launch windows are short; I try to test past the point where the sales page stops being true.
- I screenshot what I see, including the parts the vendor does not show — the upsell stack, the credit limits, the actual output quality.
- I check the real checkout. Every price, every OTO, every recurring charge.
- I write a verdict with a rating and name who should not buy it.
If a product is bad, I say so. That costs me commissions. It is the entire reason the reviews are worth reading.
What this site is not
TestedApps.com is an independent review site. It is not affiliated with SmartBear, TestComplete, or any other company that uses a similar product name. If you arrived here looking for the TestedApps object in SmartBear’s automated testing tools, that is a different thing entirely — see SmartBear’s documentation.
How the site is funded
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through one, I earn a commission at no extra cost to you. It does not change a verdict — the products I rate lowest are often the ones that pay the most.
Full disclosure: affiliate disclosure.
