Each book is a chain of locked rooms: a scene, a clue and a puzzle per room, each solved puzzle reveals a digit of the master code, and the last lock needs all of them. It ships 20 illustrated worlds at 16 rooms each, about 1,000 library images in mono and colour, 25 puzzle types the engine solves to confirm one correct answer, 6 presentation styles, 40 covers, 100-plus decorations, two age bands and two difficulty levels.
Output is an interior PDF and a full-wrap cover PDF, or every page as a 300 DPI PNG for Canva, checked against all 16 US KDP trim sizes.

Who is EscapeBook Studio not for?
It is not a done-for-you publisher and not a design tool: you pick styles and templates rather than build layouts. The age bands stop at 6-8 and 8-12, so teen and adult escape rooms are out, and books run 32 to 54 pages.
A genuinely new story world needs the Custom Theme Creator with your own OpenAI key or the credit pack. Projects are stored in browser storage, so clearing site data wipes them unless you exported a recipe file.

Is the content AI-generated?
The library artwork is, so you declare AI images when KDP asks. Puzzle checking and layout are done by the app engine.
Is there a monthly fee or a refund?
No monthly fee, $27 one time. The refund is a 30-day KDP format promise: a covered formatting defect or a broken purchased feature is fixed first, then refunded if it cannot be fixed.
